A real pain when the old CPU plays up in space. At least it wasn't half a solar system away, and he could attempt the repair.

I read somewhere that US test pilots during the 1950's and 1960's had a great reminder for each other about warning lights and what to do in a possibly dangerous situation.

"If a little red light comes on, tap it gently with a hammer and see if it goes out"
