This is the executable file only, for a directory structure and image samples, see 'Previous MERDAT versions page' below.
Mars Pathfinder Lander only, files should be kept in their respective directories.
Files downloaded from a directory named e.g. c124xxx should be saved in a directory of the same name on your local hard drive. This is due to the fact that some of the spacecraft clock data is in the directory name as well as the filename. If this is not adhered to, the software will assume file times after landing are c124xxx and c125xxx, all other times and days will be incorrect. This does not apply to the Sojourner rover.
Sojourner Rover limitation, this is almost implemented, an update is planned soon.
Time on Martian surface not displayed.
Sojourner Viewer 1 A companion for MERDATX+ that opens NASA PDS *.img files.
DLLs used by MERDAT that you may require are winmm.dll and avifil32.dll
