A while ago, while looking through some old 35mm colour slides, I came across a photo not seen for a while and I thought it worth trying to scan. The image is of a V2 Missile or Rocket at Point Cook Air Force Base, in Victoria, Australia. I would say at a guess, 1970 ish, give or take a year. I remember the rocket as being quite large, seems I was quite small. As far as I can remember, one of the Airforce personnel we asked about it said that it was found in a tip or rubbish dump in or near Sydney, and that it was here to be restored. I'm not sure but it may be at the War Museum in Canberra, if anyone could confirm that to me, it would be appreciated.
